I'm a Dairyland fan. Burgers and fries that are cooked instead of made. They actually pay attention to their customers. Feel good and get tasty fast food too!

Got kids that don't want to work and have BAD attitude

Wait over an hour to get our food. After getting home our fries were half full and cold, some weren’t cooked all the way. The burgers were small and not worth the price. Ask for no onions on one burger and they put onions on it. Tried calling to talk to the manager and was put on hold and the person never came back to the phone. Tried calling back and the phone was busy. Very bad experience. I will never go back.

love the jalapeno and bacon double cheeseburger! jalapenos are fried crunchy for uniquely different spicy taste.

This has to be the best burger I have ever had. Yes I said it. Better than Whataburger and Fuddruckers, or Stomps. It has large amounts of fresh veggies and the bun is good, not falling apart from being stocked in the fridge. Service is a smooth system and they announce your name over a loud speaker. They have Onion rings that are great with black pepper embedded in them. Floats, Fried Oreos, Frito pie. It’s everything you would want in a hamburger place.

Not sure that they know the difference between a shake and a malt. They forgot my malt. Had to remind them. Hamburger was ordered with no cheese. As in Hamburger. It was good all in all still.

Good lunch and comfort food

Lived in Alvin all our lives and we were in the mood for a tortilla burger And very excited about it with the pandemic and all. We walked up to give our order and the girl says “we have 10 minutes before we close so all we can do is fryers and drinks.” Ok so that means no burgers?! And she say thats correct! Wow...umm...ok. It seems to me that you post business hours for a reason. If you’re hours say you’re open till 9pm then it appears you would serve your community until 9pm. I don’t understand what is so hard about doing your job and seeing it through to the end!!

Went there on car show night, so they were very busy, but still managed fast service with great food.

The food other people were eating looked good, but I ended up having to cancel my order. I had waited a little over 30 min and went to the window to ask how much longer it would be and they said about 30 more min! I was not anticipating that kind of a wait for hamburgers. Wish they would have given me a heads up on the wait before I ordered.

Ordered the shrimp platter while we were in Alvin from Santa Fe, got our food and went home. My mistake 🙅 checking behind those that should know how to do their jobs right. Well we only had 3 shrimp each in each platter. Should have been 5 or 6 that it comes with. Also the 3 we got were over cooked. It had been years since we ate here, it use to be really good. Won't be telling others to go there and won't be back!!

It was a comfortable and family oriented environment. For sure best burger onion rings and french fries in Alvin!!!

Bergers taste and texture seems like it's mixed with soy meat. I get the chicken strip basket the ranch used to be bomb now it's generic. Overpriced.

A true Alvin tradition. This place has been around forever. I don't know if it goes all the way back to the 50's, but it certainly goes back to the 60's. Ownership has changed many times. Burgers and fries and other staple American fast food choices fill the menu. I love the Char Burger. My wife loves the Tortilla burger. Certainly a piece of Americana here.

This place is a joke. Always has been sub par, but I figured I would give it one last shot. I mean c'mon. What kind of burger place runs out of burgers? I would never recommend this place. Bunch of high schoolers too lazy to clean up again after they already prepared to close down for the night.

I have been here before and loved the patty melt. It has been a while but today I ordered it again....worst patty melt I think I have ever had. Big texas toast was burned and so much larger than the meat, the cheese was wierd with a little bit of white cheese and a slice of barely melted yellow cheese, the onions were not really cooked and it had so much season all or Tonys that i could barely eat the part that i did eat. Sad day because I used to love coming here. The ppl are really nice though and they have the best fries. Just dont get the patty melt.

"JUST LIKE THE OLD DAYS" Yep! Big covered porch/deck, outside in the open- ATMOSPHERE-Gravel drive-in parking lot. Good burgers! Alvin's speed limit is 30 mph. Nice slow settings around you. Quiet area, really nice! Try it once and you'll go back!

The food is really good and the staff are friendly and helpful. All around a great small town outdoor diner with a city surrounding. Feels like home.

I was pleasantly surprised. Burgers was filling and tasty. The young lady there who took our order was friendly. Onion rings was delicious. I enjoyed it and the price was reasonable.

Really enjoyed the old time feel from here. Friendly staff and good food. Wait was a little longer than anticipated. Tortilla burger was different but in a good way.

This was our first time trying this place and we were unsure of what we wanted, the employee made us feel rushed and unwelcome. I ended up ordering a burger. Half the employees left their mask hanging by one ear while cooking the food. Not sure if I will be going back.
